Be yourself. Don’t worry about what others are thinking of you. When you know what you are, and who you are, nothing can hurt you. Do whatever you have to do to be happy. You are beautiful.

Sam and Jason are in the same fucking category. That category being "Scum of the Earth".

I really don’t understand how ANYONE can defend what they have done. Sexual harassment, rape, statutory rape, ect. are VERY SERIOUS things. The fact that there are people who say stuff like; “she should be grateful”, “she CHOSE to go back to his apartment”, “she CHOSE to drink those drinks”, “she shouldn’t have trusted someone she just met” ect. is victim blaming. It is NOT the victims’ fault in the slightest. It is their attacker’s fault. They CHOSE to take advantage of them. It’s not just a “mistake”, a mistake is leaving the dishes undone for a month and a half, spending an large amount of money on something extremely unnecessary, neglecting all your friends because you’re obsessed with your significant other, ect. those are mistakes. They (and by they I mean all of the rapists on YouTube) made conscious decisions to do the stuff they did. Ignoring the fact they did these disgusting and vile things makes everything worse. Open your eyes and stop following them like sheep.

So many of these songs are about me and Lindsey moving to L.A. in 1971, asking each other, “Now what? Should we go back to San Francisco? Should we quit?” We were scared kids in this big, huge, flat city where we had no friends and no money. I believe Lindsey and I would have made it if we’d stayed in San Francisco. He does too.”
